I spent 3 nights at Jakarta Bed and Breakfast in March 2009 and had a fantastic stay. The property and its grounds are beautiful and the bedroom I stayed in was nicely decorated and spotlessly clean.
The keeper of the B&B, Mrs Clara, and her husband made me feel extremely welcome in their home and nothing was too much trouble. I am a girl in her 20′s who was travelling alone in Indonesia, but always felt reassured as Mrs Clara was always at the end of the phone if I needed to contact her for help for any reason and she went out of her way to ensure I was safe at all times. She is also a fantastic cook and will make you traditional Indonesian meals throughout your stay, especially her delicious breakfasts which filled me up for the rest of the day!
If you are looking for a warm and friendly place to stay in Indonesia with a personal touch then I highly recommend Jakarta Bed and Breakfast and would definitely stay there again if I ever return to Jakarta.
